Health and Safety First 

​

Top Clean takes Health and Safety Policy very seriously to ensure the health of our staff at work. Here are some important highlights of our policy: 

​

We do not move or lift heavy items, furniture, and boxes. We do not clean areas that present a risk of accidents and personal injuries, including areas that cannot be safely reached by using a 2-step step ladder.

​

You are required to provide a safe working environment for our cleaners, e.g. safe electrical appliances, securely fixed wardrobes, cupboards, shelves etc. and advise us of any risks. If you ask a cleaner to use your electrical appliances, please ensure that they are safe. This also applies to cleaning products. 

 

During and after a Topcleaner’s visit you should expect floors and surfaces to be wet and cleaning products and equipment may be left unattended. We do not accept liability for any accidents that may arise as a result of this. It is your responsibility to take any necessary precautions to safeguard yourself, any children, vulnerable adults or any third parties who have access to your property.

Clients will not privately engage the services of any current or former Topcleaner introduced to you by us. Top Clean reserves the right to claim any damages, loss of earnings, recruitment and training costs and any court costs where appropriate.

 

Please ensure our cleaners have access to the property on arrival, including parking. Otherwise we are obliged to charge for any amount spent to gain access to the premises.

We love tidying up! But we can devote more of our time in providing you with the best of our professional services should you spend a few moments tidying before we arrive.

​

 

Fair Cancelation Policy 

​

Last-minute cancelations negatively affect our business overall. Cancelations made in less than 48 hours in advance of your booking will incur a fee.

Accident & Damage 

​

We work as carefully as possible to avoid accidents, but accidents are inevitable nonetheless. And for this reason, we are unable to offer any compensation, including discounts to cover the cost of any accidental damage we advise you to ensure you have adequate home insurance. Although accidental damage almost never occurs, we must still make you aware of the possibility.

Special Services 

​

We are able to include and provide special requests from regular clients only. These may include ironing, bedding change, oven/fridge clean, plant watering etc., Please contact us 48 hours in advance of your clean with your request, so we can ensure we are able to accommodate and agree on payment. 

 

We may be able to accommodate these on the day of the service, please leave a note and we will charge you accordingly.

It’s business as usual for us on public/bank holidays. If you do not wish to go ahead with your booking please contact Top Clean to reschedule the date. Please note our last-minute cancelation fee still applies, so plan ahead and let us know 48 hours prior to our arrival. 

 

Please inform us of any items that are particularly fragile, require special care or attention or are irreplaceable, so that we are aware and able to make special arrangements for care.

 

We reserve the right to take photographs of any areas the cleaner(s) considers to be of concern. Any such photographs are confidential and will be for our use only.

DBS & References

​

We are able to provide you with a DBS certificate upon request and references from existing clients near you. 

​
